Globe Telecom is one of the leading Internet Service Providers in the Philippines. Globe Broadband Wireless Internet is one of the most popular internet connection from Globe Telecom. The speed of Globe Broadband Internet varies depending on the type of plan you subscribed from Globe. They offer uncapped data connection for businesses and capped data connection for home users. The problem with capped data internet connection is that you cannot continue browsing when you consume all the data allowance.

Are you a Filipino who has Internet Connection at home and subscribing to Globe Broadband Wireless Internet? Perhaps you are thinking to change your WIFI password but you don’t know how to do it. Well, changing WIFI password for Globe Broadband is very easy. But before we dive into configuring your WIFI, let’s have a quick overview of some of the technical terms we will be using.

Modem and Router

A modem stands for modulator-demodulator and serves as a bridge between your local network and the Internet while a router directs or “routes” the data packets between computers and usually has a built-in switch thus enabling the devices to communicate to each other. Globe Telecom provide their subscribers a modem with built-in router. They usually use the Huawei B315s-936 modem.


Firmware is a software embedded or included in an electronic device. Huawei provides firmware for their Huawei B315s-936 modems. This software enables us to manage the modem/router.

Now that you understand how your Home Internet works let us begin accessing your modem/router to change your WIFI password. Make sure you are connected to your network. You can use desktop or mobile phone.

Step 1. Access the Router’s firmware by typing in your internet browser. You will see the admin webpage.

Step 2. Login using this account: username – user, password – @l03e1t3

Step 3. Go to the Settings > WLAN > WLAN Basic Settings.

Step 4. Enter your new password and you can also change your WIFI name on SSID entry. Click Apply to save your new WIFI password.


After saving your new WIFI Password you will be disconnected from the internet unless you are connected through UTP cable.
